0002 - Course Structure
The course is divided into modules that group related topics. The complexity of these topics gradually increases as you progress through the training.
Progressing through topics
While we recommend following the course in the order it was designed, we understand that you might already be an experienced user, who would prefer to focus on a specific topic. In that case, you can start the course wherever you like, or even explore topics à la carte, focusing only on those you are unfamiliar with or wish to review.
0002.01 - Use the “Complete and Continue” button for each lesson.
In any case, clicking the "Complete and Continue" button allows you to mark the topic as completed, helping you keep track of the topics you have covered in the course.
0002.02 - Checkmark icon indicating that the lesson has already been completed.
Studying the content of each lesson
When you open a lesson, you may find only text, or a combination of text and images. Some also have videos to watch, or examples to download and practice, or PDF examples to view.
The content in each lesson should be studied in the order in which it appears. In other words, if the lesson starts with a video, watch the video first, and then you will see a written summary along with pictures. This is designed to help you improve the notes you've taken while watching the video. It will also make it easier for you to review the topic later.
If you open a lesson and find text before the video, please read that text first, before you press Play. In conclusion, you just have to follow the proposed order within each lesson.
The following image shows the graphical interface of the learning platform. On the right side of the window, the lesson content (A) is highlighted, where you can find all the material needed to complete the lesson being discussed.
On the left side, the topic menu appears. Here we can see that (B) is the module title, and for each lesson, an icon (C) is displayed, which simply indicates whether it is text-only or includes a video. Additionally, for lessons that include a video, it can be seen that the duration (D) is shown at the end of the title, indicating the video's length in minutes and seconds.
0002.03 - Appearance of the graphical interface of the course.
Here you can see all the possible icons that can appear in front of a lesson title, indicating the inclusion of a video, a quiz, or just text in that lesson. They are for your information only.
0002.04 - The icons that may be displayed at the beginning of a lesson.
A second set of icons is used to indicate the level of completion for each lesson.
In the following image we can see three different circular icons, which mean the following:
- The checkmark icon (A) shows that the lesson has been completed.
- The open circle icon (B) indicates that the lesson has not yet been opened.
- The half-filled circle (C) indicates that the lesson has been opened, but has not been finished.
0002.05 - Icons in the topic menu that show degree of completion.
